Rep. Spartz joined a bipartisan group of lawmakers urging FERC to reject BlackRock's proposed AES takeover, raising concerns that unprecedented data-center demand, coupled with related infrastructure investments, could shift costs and risks to Hoosier ratepayers. https://t.co/UvIu8ZfmMz

More hypocrisy: Senate Democrats blocked legislation protecting consumers from Big Tech and data centers shifting utility costs to consumers. Is the Socialist Marxist Party really against oligopolies—or shielding them while destroying small businesses? Oligarchs are easier to control.

SPARTZ CAMPAIGN SEEKS HELP IDENTIFYING THIEF STEALING CAMPAIGN SIGNS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 29, 2026 WESTFIELD, IN - Here we go again. Another election, another campaign sign stolen. The Spartz campaign is asking for the public’s help identifying an individual caught on camera stealing large Victoria Spartz campaign signs several times. “Supporters of my opponents talk a lot about civility, but then come to shout at my town halls and steal my campaign signs,” said Congresswoman Victoria Spartz. “Elections are decided at the ballot box, not by stealing campaign signs.” Anyone who can identify the individual is asked to contact the Spartz campaign at [email protected] or the Fishers Police Department at 317-595-3300.

J.D. FORD NEEDS TO EXPLAIN WHY HIS CAMPAIGN HQ IS HEADED FOR TAX SALE FOR DELINQUENT TAXES FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 29, 2026 WESTFIELD, IN - J.D. Ford needs to explain the financial arrangement surrounding the Carmel property being used as his campaign headquarters. The property at 610 N. Rangeline Road, owned by D M Investment Group LLC, is headed for Hamilton County’s October 8 tax sale for $16,937 in delinquent taxes. This is not the first time the property has appeared on Hamilton County’s tax-sale list: it was listed in 2022 for $14,516 and in 2024 for $20,252. The property has also been listed for sale since October 2025 and is currently offered for $749,999. The connections surrounding the property raise additional questions. D M Investment Group LLC, which owns the property, lists Jason Delk as its registered agent, using the same Muncie address as Delk McNally LLP. Delk is a founding partner of the firm with Mike McNally. Delk McNally also lists 610 N. Rangeline Road—the property being used as Ford’s campaign headquarters—as its Carmel office. Ford should explain what arrangement his campaign has for using the property. He should also clarify whether Mike McNally has any relationship to Matt McNally, the Indiana Democratic Party’s 5th Congressional District vice chair, and whether any such relationship has a connection to the campaign’s use of the property, particularly given the upcoming tax sale. "Ford’s arrangement raises many questions. J.D. Ford wants voters to trust him with their tax dollars, so why did he choose for his campaign headquarters a property that has repeatedly been listed for tax sale and currently has almost $17,000 in delinquent taxes? I hope the IndyStar is as eager to ask these questions," Spartz said.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 24, 2026 WESTFIELD, IN - Today, Victoria Spartz, through counsel, sent a cease-and-desist letter to WISH-TV, WNDY-TV, and WRTV demanding that the stations stop airing a political advertisement sponsored by Commonsense Hoosiers PAC containing false and misleading claims about her finances and stock transactions. The advertisement falsely claims that Victoria Spartz went to Congress, began trading as much as $5 million in stocks, and became “a corrupt politician getting rich at our expense.” Spartz has never personally owned or traded individual stocks. The transactions cited in the advertisement involved Roth IRA accounts belonging to her husband and dependent children and were publicly disclosed as required. Her overall disclosed net worth has not materially changed since entering Congress, and the substantial majority of the family’s assets consists of real estate, farmland, and other assets largely owned before she took office. Her publicly available financial disclosures document her assets and financial activity. “This is not a difference of political opinion. These are objectively verifiable facts,” said Spartz. “I have never personally owned or traded individual stocks, and I certainly did not get rich in Congress, through stock trading or anything else - as anyone can see from my public financial disclosures. Dark money PACs should not be enabled by broadcasters to spread false information to Indiana voters.” https://t.co/WnQodq3sqd

Congresswoman Victoria Spartz responded today to J.D. Ford’s continuing falsifications concerning her finances, providing additional information regarding assets in her husband’s retirement account owned before she entered Congress and the longstanding use of a Westfield property as her campaign headquarters. “Mr. Ford continues to misrepresent publicly available financial disclosures and make false accusations,” Spartz said. “Political operatives like him who have never had a real job outside of politics are the real problem in Washington. They are the ones who go there to enrich themselves - not people who worked hard, can make a living in the real world, and go there to do a tour of duty for their country. I look forward to our debate.” https://t.co/PNrhTQtwoh

Spartz Introduces Bill to Rename Muncie Post Office in Honor of Corporal Blake Reynolds

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Rep. Victoria Spartz (IN-05) introduced legislation to rename a United States Post Office in Muncie, Indiana, in honor of fallen Delaware County Sheriff’s Corporal Blake Reynolds. The legislation is cosponsored by the entire Indiana House delegation. “Blake lived as a hero through selfless service, offering his life day by day to the people he was called to protect,” said Rep. Spartz. “His faith, compassion, and commitment to serving others left a lasting impact on our community. I am grateful to my Indiana colleagues for joining me in honoring his life and ensuring his legacy of service will not be forgotten.” Corporal Blake Reynolds was a lifelong Hoosier whose life was rooted in faith, family, and service. A 2013 graduate of Delta High School, he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Ball State University and served with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office for three years, most recently as a corporal. Blake was known by those closest to him for his strong faith, joyful spirit, sense of humor, and deep love for his family, including his wife, Allison, his parents, Bruce and Melissa, and his brother, Dustin. Those qualities shaped the way he served his community—with compassion, courage, and a genuine heart for people. On November 12, 2025, Corporal Reynolds was killed in the line of duty while serving the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.

Press Release
AHEAD OF STATE AUDIT COMMITTEE MEETING, SPARTZ SEEKS ACCOUNTABILITY FOR IEDC AND LEAP

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In light of the upcoming September 29 meeting of the Indiana Legislative Council Audit and Financial Reporting Subcommittee, Rep. Victoria Spartz (IN-05) sent a letter to the Subcommittee raising serious concerns about the adequacy of state audit and legislative oversight of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and the rapidly expanding LEAP Research and Innovation District. Under Indiana law, the Subcommittee has statutory responsibility for independent review and oversight of the State Board of Accounts (SBOA) and the state examination process, including reviewing examination reports, internal accounting controls, and corrective actions. “Indiana taxpayers deserve to know what happened, why our existing audit and oversight mechanisms failed to identify these serious problems, whether any wrongdoing occurred, and whether anyone should be held accountable,” said Rep. Spartz. “With significant state and federal resources involved, we need proper independent oversight—not just changes in policies going forward.” State Audit and Legislative Oversight Rep. Spartz’s letter raises questions about oversight of IEDC and LEAP as IEDC’s funding, authority, land holdings, contractual commitments, and development activities expanded significantly beginning in 2022. The letter asks how IEDC’s changing risk profile was evaluated under the State’s risk-based examination process; what oversight the Subcommittee conducted of IEDC, IEDF, and LEAP; what actions were taken following prior audit findings; and why significant governance, contracting, conflict, internal-control, and compliance concerns subsequently identified by FTI Consulting were not identified through the existing examination and oversight process. The October 2, 2025 FTI forensic review identified 45 findings and observations involving governance, internal controls, contracting, conflicts, compliance, and financial oversight. FTI also expressly stated that its work was not an audit or comprehensive investigation and was not designed to identify all errors, irregularities, or potential fraud. Rep. Spartz is asking the Subcommittee to address these matters at its upcoming meeting and has offered to participate in the discussion. See letter to the Indiana Legislative Council Audit and Financial Reporting Subcommittee HERE. Additional GAO Inquiry Rep. Spartz also sent an additional inquiry to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) requesting a federal review of IEDC and LEAP, including federal funding, financial controls, compliance, and federal agency oversight. This GAO inquiry is separate from Rep. Spartz’s earlier request concerning the Citizens–Lebanon water project and its use of federally capitalized Drinking Water State Revolving Fund financing.
