What a weekend around Minnesota! People are fired up because they know the stakes of this election. The last thing we need is a rubber stamp for Donald Trump in the governor’s office.Make your plan to vote between now and November 3: https://t.co/2KWdmS5QbR. https://t.co/cxaR0H1Gyd
Minnesota Teamsters work hard, and I’m grateful they’re also working hard supporting my campaign and putting up our lawn signs. You can get your lawn sign today at: https://t.co/0Phr2Bkab6. https://t.co/KfvFUgcqp8
Today we commemorate Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Minnesota is home to eleven Tribal Nations that are a major part of our history and our future.
I worked with Dave Ebinger to take on crime when he was Chief of Police in Moorhead. As Governor, I will give local police departments and law enforcement the support they need to bring down crime and put criminals behind bars. https://t.co/Ej5pm73AMO
Record diesel prices are hurting Minnesota school districts and the families and kids who depend on reliable bus routes. It is long past time for the President to end his war in Iran, which is raising costs for families and school districts in Minnesota and across the country. https://t.co/rFwx8C1t6y
The timing of this raid and reports that a White House official was involved raise serious questions that should concern all Americans, regardless of political party.
The Vikings take on the Saints in New Orleans today! Our defense has been incredible so far this season — let’s keep that undefeated streak rolling! #SKOL
Vikings win! Great to have Justin Jefferson back to give our offense a spark. 5-0 heading into the bye week. Doesn’t get better than that! #SKOL
John and I had a great time at my former staffer Mitch Perry’s wedding this weekend — and also fun to see former staff members Hannah Hankins and Devan Cayea. We’re wishing Mitch and Chris all the best! https://t.co/rrwYsQwiYK
Grateful for the law enforcement leaders who joined me to talk about the action we need to take to prevent crime, investigate cases, and make sure there are consequences for those who commit crimes. As a former prosecutor, I will make sure law enforcement have the resources they need to keep Minnesotans safe.
It was great to be in Northfield on a beautiful day with Rep. Kristi Pursell (and her dog Ginger!). Thanks to the Northfield Chamber of Commerce and all the Northfield small businesses for hosting the Rooster Roundup! https://t.co/xwjgNd4Cuf
Thank you, President Obama! https://t.co/iuwyhSEVYn
Happy National 4-H Week to all the amazing young leaders in @MN4H and around the country! The Senate passed my bipartisan resolution with Senator Boozman celebrating this week and recognizing 4-H’s impact as it prepares 50,000+ Minnesota youth to lead in their communities. As 4-H Caucus co-chair, I’ll keep championing exciting opportunities for youth in agriculture.
There’s nothing quite like a Minnesota fall — this weekend is a perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy the fall colors, trails, and parks that make this such a beautiful time of year in our state. https://t.co/aXdGROvyx6
Back in my hometown, Plymouth, for a truly perfect parade! Couldn’t ask for better weather and it was great to say hello to so many of you! https://t.co/sqWfyQB2h8
Good luck to all the hunters enjoying this gorgeous October weekend! Minnesota is the land of 10,000 lakes, but also 1,500 wildlife management areas and 12 million acres of public land. Hunting supports more than 12,000 jobs in our state. Let’s keep this tradition going for the next generation!
When I ran Minnesota’s largest prosecutor’s office, I did my job without fear or favor. As Governor, I’ll audit state government top-to-bottom, make sure people who commit fraud go to jail, and get rid of decades-old technology so we have the tools to stop the fraud before it happens. My opponent can attack me all she wants – I’m going to clean up this mess. Watch my new ad ⬇️
When Minnesota U.S. Attorney Andy Luger went after Feeding Our Future, I asked what he needed to take on the fraud. He said he needed more prosecutors, so I went to the top of the Justice Department and got it done. That’s how I’ll lead as Governor – when there’s a problem, I won’t wait. I’ll act.
Rochester is on the move, and the 6th Street Bridge will help it keep moving forward. Thanks to the advocacy of Mayor Norton and other civic leaders, more than half of this project is getting done with federal funding, which — by working across the aisle — I fought to secure. The bridge will cut congestion on South Broadway, help first responders get where they need to go faster, and make it easier to reach downtown, Discovery Square, and the new Aquatic Center at Soldiers Field.
Thank you to the prosecutors and law enforcement who joined me today to talk about improving public safety in our state. As Governor, I will take on gang violence by establishing a Regional Gang Violence Task Force, help local police hire and retain more officers, and make sure police and first responders have the resources they need. I’ll bring my experience as a former prosecutor to the job of keeping Minnesotans safe.
A beautiful evening in Northfield for the Governor’s Pheasant Opener. Pheasant hunting is a Minnesota tradition and this year we’re celebrating new public land: a 101-acre island added to the Circle Lake Wildlife Management Area in Rice County. https://t.co/mig0OM2zAs
Minnesota runs on power, and that power runs through the more than 16,000 members of the IBEW. When a storm hits, our electrical workers show up and help Minnesotans keep the lights on. I’m honored to have the endorsement of the IBEW, and as Governor, I will show up for Minnesota the way they do.
Behind every voter is a story. A lot of people who voted for Donald Trump thought he would do something about costs. Instead, prices are skyrocketing and 8 million Americans have been tossed off their health care coverage. Minnesota can’t afford a rubber stamp for him in the governor’s office like Lisa Demuth.
As a former prosecutor, I understand what we need to take on fraud. That’s why when the Feeding Our Future indictments came down, I went to the top of the Department of Justice and fought to get Minnesota’s U.S. Attorney Andy Luger’s office the prosecutors they needed. https://t.co/h0Rq6Re7rZ
Kate is a middle school teacher, a mother of six, and seven years cancer free. But dealing with health insurance made going through chemo even harder. I had coverage I could depend on when I was treated for breast cancer, and Minnesota families deserve the same. As Governor, I will keep fighting to lower health care costs so people can afford the care they need.
