Thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts, communities across the country are thriving. That’s true here in Moorefield, where Pilgrim’s is gearing up to open an affordable child care facility for its team members. https://t.co/Zh6olxbjIQ

An afternoon well spent! @BabydogJustice and I headed to our favorite ground blind in Monroe County and bagged a nice whitetail with our compound bow! Babydog loves being out in the blind and waiting on a perfect buck. Wishing everyone a great and safe hunting season. https://t.co/WDgMqjqKi9

Today, I met with team members and growers at Pilgrim’s in Moorefield. The poultry industry plays an important role in feeding America, supporting jobs, and keeping our agricultural economy moving. We must get the Farm Bill, which includes my Hot Rotisserie Chicken Act, over the finish line.

Senator Justice Visits Gestamp to Celebrate National Manufacturing Week

CHARLESTON, WV – Today, Senator Jim Justice visited Gestamp South Charleston during National Manufacturing Week to highlight the importance of manufacturing and the West Virginians who power it. “As America brings manufacturing home and electricity demand rises, West Virginia should be producing the power that fuels that growth – not watching the investment go somewhere else. For a manufacturer like Gestamp, you have to have power that is both affordable and reliable. A plant cannot operate if the grid is unreliable, and high electricity costs make it harder to compete. I’ve always advocated for an “all the above” energy approach. West Virginia already has the energy resources and workforce to help meet this growing demand. When Congress passes the permitting reform and makes it easier to turn those resources into actual generation, transmission, and manufacturing jobs,” said Senator Jim Justice. “It was a pleasure to welcome Senator Jim Justice to our South Charleston facility, and we truly appreciate him taking the time to visit our team and show his support for manufacturing in our community. National Manufacturing Week is a great opportunity to celebrate the people behind what we do, and we’re incredibly proud and grateful for our hardworking Gestamp employees who make our success possible every day,” said Federico Mattassini, Director of Operations Gestamp US. “As competition for manufacturing investment continues to grow across the country, strong partnerships between industry and state leadership are essential to maintaining a competitive business environment and supporting long-term growth. We appreciate Senator Justice taking the time to understand the challenges facing our South Charleston facility and recognize the importance of continued investment, job retention, and the dedicated workforce that makes manufacturing in West Virginia possible,” said Jared Lahiff, Sales & Strategic Planning Manager Gestamp US. # # #

Senator Justice Visits Constellium Ravenswood

RAVENSWOOD, WV – Today, Senator Jim Justice visited Constellium Ravenswood and highlighted West Virginia’s role in manufacturing and in aerospace and space exploration during World Space Week and National Manufacturing Week, including Constellium’s contributions to NASA’s Artemis program. “For years, I’ve said West Virginia is on a figurative rocket ship ride. Well, right here in Ravenswood, at Constellium we don’t have to imagine it. We can see a true rocket ship ride happening right in front of us. Right here in Ravenswood, you helped build the foundation that carried astronauts around the Moon. You do not have to leave West Virginia to do extraordinary things. The workforce right here is proving that every single day,” said Senator Jim Justice.

Returning to my alma mater, Woodrow Wilson High School, is always special—especially for events like Keep the Ball Rolling alongside Communities In Schools. Every public school across West Virginia will receive $1,500 for its virtual pantry to give students access to essential daily supplies. Thank you to the Ball Family, the Wing 2 Wing Foundation, and the Pack Family Foundation for stepping up for our kids!

Senator Justice Releases Statement in Support of Trump’s Immigration Agenda

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jim Justice released a statement supporting President Trump’s immigration agenda. “Let me be crystal clear: I support President Trump’s immigration strategy, full stop. It’s not surprising that some are twisting my words to score political points, but there should be no confusion about where I stand. What’s been accomplished by President Trump in regards to our border and immigration is truly amazing. President Biden allowed millions upon millions to illegally enter our country. Cleaning up this mess has been a tremendous accomplishment. Our brave ICE officers are doing an incredible job protecting our communities, and they must continue to focus on criminals who are here illegally and putting Americans in danger. Violent criminals, drug traffickers, gang members and others who threaten our communities should be identified, arrested and removed. President Trump has made securing our border and restoring law and order a top priority, and I support that effort. As a senator, I will continue working with the administration and our law enforcement officers to make West Virginia and this country safer. West Virginians expect us to enforce the law, protect our communities, and keep dangerous criminals off our streets. That is exactly what I support,” said Senator Jim Justice. # # #

Senator Justice Marks Senate Passage of Bill Honoring West Virginia Children Impacted by Childhood Cancer

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jim Justice marked the Senate’s unanimous passage of his legislation to rename a playground in New River Gorge National Park and Preserve the “Hearts of Gold Playground: In Honor of West Virginia Children and Families Impacted by Childhood Cancer.” “Seeing this pass the Senate during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is something really special. It sends a message to every West Virginia family touched by childhood cancer that we see you, we stand with you, and we will always remember the courageous kids who have fought this terrible disease. My hope is that every laugh heard here and every memory made here brings a little more light into their lives. The brave West Virginia children we have named this playground after truly have hearts of gold,” said Senator Jim Justice. “Redesignating this playground is a great way to honor our youngest and bravest West Virginians fighting cancer,” Senator Capito said. “I applaud the Senate for passing this effort. It is my hope that this playground honors the strength of children and their families battling pediatric cancer and brings them pure fun and joy.” BACKGROUND: Senator Justice introduced this bill alongside Senator Capito and Representative Miller on September 30, 2025, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The primary playground located in the Grandview area at New River Gorge National Park and Preserve has long served as a space for families to gather, children to play, and the community to come together in one of West Virginia’s most scenic and beloved parks. The name carries symbolic meaning: “Hearts of Gold” honors the incredible strength of those battling pediatric cancer. The Gold Ribbon is the international symbol for childhood cancer awareness. While Governor, Senator Jim Justice announced September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in West Virginia. Additionally, he signed a bill into law providing a special license plate for Curing Childhood Cancer. # # #
