It was great to welcome Secretary of Labor @Sonderling47 to Arkansas alongside @SenTomCotton, Walmart U.S. President and CEO David Guggina and Walmart EVP of Global Governance Chief Legal Officer Erin Nealy Cox. We discussed how Walmart is investing in its employees by creating opportunities for them to develop new skills, advance their careers and succeed.
Happy 251st birthday to our unmatched @USNavy. We are grateful for over two and a half centuries of service and sacrifice that have helped secure, expand and defend our freedom.

It was an honor to join Fort Smith Mayor George McGill, members of the 188th Wing and the FS Airport Fire Station to celebrate another milestone for Ebbing Air National Guard Base and the F-35 FMS Mission: the addition of two new fire trucks. I’m proud to have worked alongside @SenTomCotton and @rep_stevewomack to secure these vital resources. This equipment will help ensure local firefighters are better able to protect the community and keep everyone, including our airmen and visiting pilots, safe. I’m grateful for these dedicated men and women’s service and commitment to our state and nation.
I’m proud to lead @SenateAgGOP’s efforts to advance policies that support farmers, strengthen rural communities and ensure American agriculture remains strong for generations to come. We delivered an improved farm safety net through the Working Families Tax Cuts and are continuing to build on that with Farm Bill 2.0. We’re working to get this critical legislation across the finish line this year for our farmers and rural America.
Arkansas's congressional delegation backed significant farm safety net enhancements through the Working Families @TaxCuts. We're pleased that these benefits – an estimated $1.1 billion – are now getting in the hands of our farmers. MORE: https://t.co/FhHeHGL2OU https://t.co/2lbyf7AP2c
Hamas' Oct. 7th attack on Israel was horrific and unthinkable. This anniversary is a reminder to honor the victims, survivors and their loved ones, as well as the brave men and women who fought back in defense of Israel's right to exist in peace and security.
The arrival of the Germany's F-35s and pilots at Ebbing is great news as the FMS mission we worked so hard to secure gets even stronger. https://t.co/GVVswR7XL1
About 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about breast cancer, educate others about the importance of early detection and support those affected by the disease. Breast cancer is the leading cancer diagnosis among women, making awareness, regular screenings and early detection especially important. By staying informed and encouraging others to do the same, we can help make a difference.
Republicans made a generational investment in the risk management programs that farmers rely on ⤵️
Proud to celebrate #National4HWeek and the more than 130,000 young Arkansans reached through 4-H. From agriculture and leadership to service and hands-on learning, 4-H is helping prepare the next generation of Arkansas leaders.

Arkansas has over 2,000 manufacturing operations with tens of thousands of employees throughout our state. Today we recognize their role in keeping our economy moving and creating great career opportunities for hardworking Arkansans. These jobs help build stronger families, stronger communities and a stronger Natural State. We’re proud to celebrate the men and women who make it happen every day.
Camden, Arkansas is at the center of the defense industry’s push to replenish critical munitions and protect America’s men and women in uniform. We're proud of its incredible workforce and the investments that continue to bet on them. https://t.co/uVsf9QOuTG
Happy to see Chamber of Mothers chapters coming to Arkansas. We're excited to continue advocating together for maternal health improvements as well as helping states adopt flexible paid leave programs through the More Paid Leave for More Americans Act. https://t.co/1vimztCdEu
Congratulations to Dr. Barnes. Looking forward to continuing our efforts in support of @UAMSHealth's important role delivering quality care, conducting vital research and offering excellent training to future medical providers.
As Prostate Cancer Awareness Month concludes, I encourage men to pursue the early detection opportunities that have been proven to increase survival rates. I'm proud to lead the PSA Screening for HIM Act that would expand insurance coverage for screenings among men at high risk.

Enjoyed visiting with @StBernards President & CEO Chris Barber about delivering high-quality care in northeast Arkansas, the Rural Health Transformation Program funds it has been awarded to expand and enhance services and my bipartisan SUSTAIN 340B Act to strengthen transparency and stability in the 340B program. Congratulations to him and his entire team on being recognized again by Forbes for outstanding workplace culture, employee support systems and commitment to advancing the healthcare profession. #ARinDC
Arkansas, under Gov. @SarahHuckabee's leadership, has set a strong example on expanding paid leave. Our state now provides eligible state employees up to 12 weeks of paid maternity leave after the birth, adoption or foster-care placement of a child, and we're one of two states to guarantee public school employees up to 12 weeks of fully paid maternity leave.
Glad to welcome Arkansas @SkillsUSA students to Washington, D.C. to discuss the importance of career and technical education and the opportunities it provides students pursuing in-demand careers. As a member of the Career & Technical Education Caucus, I’m proud to support programs that bolster this training and help strengthen Arkansas’s workforce. #ARinDC
Recently joined The Hill to discuss providing better support to families alongside @RepHoulahan. We discussed our bipartisan More Paid Leave for More Americans Act, which would give states and employers a flexible framework to establish paid leave programs and help address gaps in access to paid family, caregiving and medical leave. Great to visit with Girls Inc. of Fort Smith leaders about the important work they’re doing to empower girls across the River Valley. By equipping young women with the skills, confidence and leadership abilities needed to succeed, they’re helping build a stronger future for Arkansas.
Arkansas Rural Water Association Executive Director Chris Harris and his team work tirelessly to ensure Arkansans have access to safe drinking water and modern wastewater treatment. They were honored with the Outstanding Achievement in Legislative Initiatives award at the @NRWA WaterPro Conference. Join me in congratulating them for this well-deserved recognition.
