Utah is home to thousands of veteran-owned businesses—many of which play a critical role in supporting our defense industrial base. Enjoyed touring Straight Jacket Armory, which recently set up shop in Nephi, to see how they are supporting various U.S. military units, including Special Operations Forces and Navy SEAL programs.

American manufacturers shouldn't have to navigate conflicting rules on recycled materials. My Recycled Materials Attribution Act would establish clear standards, protect consumers from misleading claims, and give businesses certainty to invest in new recycling innovations. https://t.co/AGoJjueSmy

I commend the Administration for taking the allegations involving Ambassador Guilfoyle seriously. Public service is a public trust, and political connections should never put anyone above accountability. I appreciate President Trump’s willingness to act. That's the kind of leadership Americans are yearning for.

Government regulations can disproportionately burden small businesses, which represent 99% of companies in Utah. It’s critical that the regulatory environment is productive, targeted, and efficient. Great to be with the Intermountain Business Alliance to share an update from Washington and learn from our business community.

Protecting communities from catastrophic wildfires requires more than just fighting fires once they start. We need experts from every field working together to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions. Great to sit down with wildfire experts and Utah leaders to discuss better forest management, wildfire prevention, and recovery efforts that will help our communities prepare for future fires.

Utah continues to play a leading role in advancing global health through research, innovation, and humanitarian work. Appreciated joining leaders at the University of Utah to discuss the future of global health, including the threats that the burgeoning national debt poses to economic stability and our ability to help.

October is Gate Safety Month, an important reminder that large, improperly secured gates can pose serious risks to families and communities. Our bipartisan Alex Gate Safety Act would establish uniform safety standards and raise awareness of these dangers to help prevent future tragedies.

Seneca warned that Rome’s bloody spectacles corrupted the people who watched them. A civilization erodes when it cultivates an appetite for executions as a form of entertainment. Secretary Hegseth’s plan to livestream the Fort Hood execution risks feeding that appetite. The victims deserve justice administered with solemnity. Broadcasting a death diminishes us and is not an effective deterrent. I urge him to reconsider.

Better methane monitoring means stronger energy security, more efficient production, and a healthier environment. My bipartisan bill with @SenatorHick will help us make better use of existing technologies to detect methane leaks and give energy producers the information they need without adding new regulations. https://t.co/35nISWEzwt

Three years ago, Hamas terrorists launched a brutal attack against Israel, murdering innocent civilians, including children, and taking hostages. Today, we remember the lives stolen on October 7 and the families forever changed by that horrific attack. We must never forget how this war began, remain clear-eyed about the threat posed by terrorism, and continue working toward lasting peace and security.

America should be able to build critical infrastructure without getting stuck in outdated federal processes. I’m glad to see my bill to bring environmental reviews into the digital age be included in the Bipartisan American Affordability and Jobs Act. Seeing the war from Kharkiv firsthand made one thing clear: this is not the war many Americans think it is. Ukraine is proving to be a capable partner to the United States, and the Ukrainians are making meaningful progress against Russia. Ukrainians are our friends. Putin is not. https://t.co/a4kvkwbtm1
