Great work by Attorney General Mike Hilgers uncovering this Medicaid fraud. Nebraskans’ hard-earned money should be working for them. We need to continue to fight fraud, waste, and abuse of tax-payer dollars. https://t.co/APx0sIaLeG
As Governor, I led trade missions promoting Nebraska beef worldwide. Nebraska achieved record agricultural exports for three consecutive years. In the Senate, I introduced the MARKET Act. It would expand opportunities for Nebraska farmers and ranchers. We must continue to open markets for Nebraska beef around the world.
Happy Birthday to the United States Navy. Today we honor the generations of women and men in the Navy who have selflessly served America. We are grateful for their sacrifice. https://t.co/Wo89DcZ2eH
Nebraska ranchers need more competition in meatpacking. As Governor, I helped make Sustainable Beef a reality. The North Platte facility can process 1,500 cattle daily. We need more independent packers and more buyers. https://t.co/Lw01ceIIks
I have the best campaign staff and volunteers in the country! Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years and helped us deliver for Nebraska. Let’s bring this home. #TeamRicketts https://t.co/aDdR2n1dpK
Thank you to Administrator Lee Zeldin for following through on the commitment to our farmers and ranchers. This is a good step to protect Nebraska biofuels and bolster the economy. Biofuels are a win-win-win.
The Working Families Tax Cuts are working for Nebraskans. This bill gave Nebraska producers over $125 million more in agriculture risk and price loss coverage payments. I will always fight for Nebraska farmers and ranchers. https://t.co/bIrU2Rt85n
Nebraska produces the best beef in the world. I've fought foreign imports that undercut Nebraska ranchers. I also demanded stronger inspections for imported beef. I cosponsored legislation restoring mandatory country-of-origin labeling. Consumers deserve to know where their beef comes from. I'll keep fighting for fair competition and honest labels.
Great conversations with voters in Columbus and Norfolk today! Nebraskans want common-sense solutions that deliver real results. https://t.co/VAnrlKel6i
On Friday, I unveiled my Rebuild the American Herd Plan. I've fought to strengthen markets and protect Nebraska ranchers. My plan builds on that work with nine priorities. We'll expand markets, strengthen competition, and protect family ranches. We'll cut red tape and safeguard our cattle supply chain. Together, we'll rebuild the American herd for future generations.
Thank you, David City and Seward! I'm grateful for the opportunity to hear from voters. I'll keep fighting for Nebraska's priorities in the Senate. https://t.co/bLpNhS2nG0
I'm honored to receive the support of Nebraska Cattlemen! Nebraska's cattle producers are the backbone of our economy. I've fought to protect family ranches and strengthen our beef industry. Together, we'll work to rebuild the American herd. https://t.co/RfsJOlmmKR
Agriculture is the heart and soul of what we do in Nebraska. Today, we recognize Nebraska’s farmers, especially with fall harvest underway.🌽 Thank you to all of our farmers who feed and fuel our state, our nation, and the world. You are the foundation of the Good Life. Your grit, humility and resilience are an example for us all.
Happy Columbus Day! https://t.co/UPEc6nqrMt
It's Husker Gameday! #GBR https://t.co/2oiJ9eywj2
Go Big Red!
Hillary Clinton is in Nebraska today. Dan Osborn voted for her in 2016. Dan Osborn thinks rural Nebraskans' lives 'suck so f***ing bad.' Hillary Clinton called them 'deplorables.' They both support open borders. They both oppose voter ID. They both want to raise taxes on working families. Looking down on rural Americans is just one of the many things they have in common.
Great day visiting North Platte and Kearney! https://t.co/PfcS796RbV
In 2025, an estimated 44.6 million people in the United States aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year. Substance use disorders are a critical public health issue. They have devastating consequences for individuals, families, and communities. The Senate recently passed my bipartisan resolution to call attention to this crisis and the need to support critical prevention programs. We can and must do more to combat this deadly epidemic.
Karly Rain Wood's murder exposed serious gaps in public safety. I introduced the Karly Rain Wood Act in her honor. The bill would establish a national registry of repeat violent offenders. It would provide criminal history information to law enforcement and communities. We must work to prevent tragedies like Karly's.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Pete Ricketts (R-NE) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) introduced a resolution to designate October 2026 as Substance Use & Misuse Prevention Month in America. The Senate passed the bipartisan resolution on September 30. “Substance abuse is a public health issue with terrible consequences for Nebraskans,” said Senator Ricketts.“Our loved ones and communities suffer from illegal drug use. Just last year, substance abuse affected nearly 45 million Americans. We can and must do more. This bipartisan resolution raises awareness of abuse and the need to support prevention efforts.” “Substance use and misuse affect millions of Americans each year, from every community and of all ages,” said Senator Schiff. “I am proud to join Senator Ricketts in supporting crucial prevention programs to combat the drug addiction and overdose epidemic in our country.” Ricketts is a long-time champion for programs that combat the drug addiction and overdose epidemic in the United States.
Enjoyed visiting the Valentine Sales Barn today! https://t.co/Gn8mXQFi8V
Thank you to @BDandCo for your continued investment in Nebraska!
The government does not get to choose what’s best for our kids. Parents have every right to choose a faith-based curriculum for their children. I urge the Supreme Court to reverse the California court’s discriminatory decision. I will continue to defend homeschooling parents. https://t.co/x3u8m6j2ra
When I was governor, I signed legislation increasing penalties for sex trafficking. The law increased and strengthened penalties for trafficking minors and adults. These serious crimes deserve serious consequences. https://t.co/pqzx4hsevE
