Washington shouldn’t be using your tax dollars for welfare benefits for people who are here illegally. My End Welfare for Non-Citizens Act would end federal benefits, like TANF, Medicaid, and SNAP, for illegal immigrants, refugees, and asylees. It’s simple: we need to put American families first.

He blamed Trump’s cancellation of EcoHealth’s Wuhan grant for the demonization of Peter Daszak and “an emergence of the theory of a lab leak,” and reminded himself to emphasize in the book that it “really stemmed from Trump,” not the research and not the lab. https://t.co/KubmuolMrf

Hardworking Americans pay for this housing. They shouldn’t be subsidizing fugitives wanted for murder and child sex crimes. This is what real oversight looks like. And we need more of it.

The Trump entries were part of the same script. On January 12, 2022, he wrote that Trump was “trying to have it both ways,” and that “the misinformation that he helped kindle” is one of the reasons people do not get vaccinated, while insisting Biden’s team does not distort the science the way Trump’s did.

Two months later, Walensky wanted to drop CDC’s 15-minute close-contact guideline because, as Fauci wrote, it was “really based on almost no science.” He predicted the White House would push back on her because officials did not want Biden “walking around with a mask all the time” while “we are trying to act like we’re pulling out of this outbreak.” Apparently, the science could wait, but the appearance that the pandemic was ending could not.

January 10, 2022. The night before Senate testimony, after Project Veritas dropped the a Marine Corps major’s memo to DoD OIG on EcoHealth Alliances’ rejected DARPA DEFUSE proposal, Fauci called it a “smear campaign” and a “nothing burger,” then wrote that the proposal “had stuff in it that could likely require P3CO oversight if it had been sent to us,” and said that NIAID “never even saw the grant.”

On testing after five days of isolation, Zients was “adamant” they not say testing shortages were driving the policy, and Fauci’s note on December 31, 2021, was: “We have to say that testing is required at 5 days and let the system work it out whether the tests are available or not.” After what Fauci called an “extremely painful conversation,” the result was a watered-down two-pathway compromise that Fauci wrote “is not exactly what I wanted nor exactly what Jeff wanted.”

February 16, 2022. Klain warned that special mask, vaccine, and testing rules around Biden could look like a double standard, Fauci argued the president’s situation warranted it, Biden said, “I’m the fucking President of the United States,” and Fauci wrote, “I totally agreed with him.”

February 1, 2022. Fauci privately wrote that for kids 2 to 4, “The data are not solid” for a two-dose vaccine, yet “the FDA wants to push to get approval for the two dose” while waiting on three-dose data. He predicted the CDC might refuse to recommend it even if the FDA approved it. No public pushback from him on the FDA’s plan.

In his diary, Fauci was mapping out his plan to recast the fight over COVID’s origin as a Trump grudge. This book was one more way to downplay his role in where the virus came from & carry the lie forward. The media & Biden admin kept selling him as an unbiased advisor. The diary says otherwise. That same derangement sat under the devastating, draconian pandemic response he spearheaded, which the country was left to suffer through.

March 21, 2022. Under “very important issue to discuss in the book,” he wrote that the entire controversy over China as the source and the lab leak theory “stems from the tension between Trump and China.” He called that “a critical fact that should be developed in the book.” https://t.co/VJ43VvzMj3

In his diary, Anthony Fauci called the CDC “truly a dysfunctional organization.” He kept that criticism out of his book, even though he had recommended Rochelle Walensky as CDC director. But he made sure to note it in his diary.

Anthony Fauci wrote that when Trump learned NIH was funding a grant in Wuhan, Trump ordered it canceled “with no evidence to support any suspicion.” Fauci also wrote that a records request from NIH leadership to EcoHealth led to the emergence of the lab leak theory. Asking a grantee for basic records is not a smear. It is what proper oversight looks like. https://t.co/8T4GGdBOjr

The cleanup was not limited to origins. On January 2, 2022, after an “extremely stressful series of phone calls” with Walensky, Zients, and HHS officials over CDC’s testing guidance, Fauci wrote: “It has become extremely clear that the CDC is truly a dysfunctional organization. It pains me to say this. I do not want to make this explicit in writing of the book.” He added that he was “taking a hit for the incompetency and extraordinary dysfunction of the CDC.” Yet in a February 17, 2022 entry, he recalled that it was he who had recommended Walensky for CDC director through Biden’s Chief of Staff Ron Klain and Biden’s COVID Response Coordinator Jeff Zients.

Every family has to balance a checkbook. Washington should too. The deficit has passed $40 trillion, and both parties keep adding to it. My Six Penny Plan balances the budget in five years by cutting six cents from every dollar the federal government spends.

Exposing fraud isn’t right-wing or left-wing. It’s what every taxpayer should expect. If someone is stealing from the American people, the story is the theft, not the politics of the person who found it.
