Bill Pizzuto is a Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives representing the 71st district, which includes the town of Middlebury and part of the city of Waterbury. Born in 1956, he was elected in a February 2022 special election, defeating Democrat John Egan to succeed Anthony D'Amelio, who had resigned. He previously served as campus director for the University of Connecticut's Waterbury campus.
