Brian Nathan is an American Democratic politician who has served in the Florida Senate since March 2026, representing the 14th district in Hillsborough County. He is a Navy veteran and labor leader who succeeded Jay Collins, who vacated the seat after being appointed Lieutenant Governor of Florida. Nathan won the seat in a special election, narrowly defeating Josie Tomkow, whom he is set to face again in the November general election.
