Tim Bearden is an American Republican politician who has served in the Georgia State Senate from the 30th district since February 2024, having won a special election to succeed Mike Dugan. Born on May 8, 1967, he previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives from the 68th district from 2005 to 2011. He was later appointed director of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center by then-Governor Nathan Deal in 2011.
