Cornel Rasor is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 1B since his appointment in September 2024. Born in Jackson, he was appointed by Governor Brad Little to succeed Sage Dixon, who resigned to become a regional director for the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, and received the endorsement of the Bonner County Republican Party. In the 2026 legislative session, Rasor sponsored House Bill 752, which prohibits individuals from entering restrooms or changing rooms designated for the opposite biological sex in public facilities and places of public accommodation; the bill was signed into law on April 1, 2026, taking effect June 1, 2026.
