Terrell McKinney is a member of the Nebraska Legislature representing District 11, a nonpartisan seat he has held since January 2021. Born August 17, 1990, in Omaha, he won election to the seat in 2020, succeeding longtime senator Ernie Chambers. In 2024, McKinney was selected for the Future Caucus Innovation Fellowship's Criminal Justice Reform cohort, a bipartisan group of Gen Z and millennial lawmakers.
