Peter Leishman is an American politician who serves as a Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the Hillsborough 33rd district, representing Peterborough. He has held the seat since December 2022. In 2025, he was one of only two Democratic House members to vote in favor of House Bill 148, which sought to eliminate transgender protections established by a 2018 anti-discrimination law, breaking with the rest of his party's caucus on the measure.
