María de Lourdes Santiago Negrón is a Puerto Rican attorney and member of the Partido Independentista Puertorriqueño who served as an at-large member of the Puerto Rico State Senate. Born in 1968 in Adjuntas, she earned her degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and practiced law before entering politics. In 2004 she became the first woman from her party to be elected to the Puerto Rico Senate, and she served as vice-president of the party.
