Arizona's 3rd Congressional District House Race
Incumbent Democrat Yassamin Ansari is running for re-election in Arizona's 3rd U.S. House district, with the general election scheduled for November 3. Four candidates will compete on the general ballot, but experts and betting markets are both predicting a win for Ansari. The district, which is heavily Democratic, encompasses much of southern, western, and downtown Phoenix. Ansari has represented the district since 2025, and serves on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, as well as the Committee on Natural Resources.
The Money Behind the Race
Ansari has raised more than $1.4 million for the election, according to FEC filings.
Ratings vs Odds
Cook Political Report, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and Inside Elections all agreed the seat leans heavily toward Democrats as of mid-June, meaning that barring any major upset, Ansari will likely secure the seat in November.
Prediction markets agree: as of July 15, Kalshi gave Democrats a 100% chance of winning the district.
